Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is an animated TV show in which the title character learns valuable lessons through short, memorable songs. The Fred Rogers Company wanted to make these songs, along with further supporting content, available to parents whenever they might need them. They brought the idea for an app, the content, and usability testing resources. I led UX, designing two approaches to information architecture, search, and favoriting. Then, in collaboration with a visual designer and content engineer, built two high-fidelity prototypes for testing. The final result was a mix of both concepts, and soon went to the top of the iOS App Store charts.
